The accommodation is located in a privately owned apartment in a building that is more than 200 years old. With views overlooking the castle the rooms are large, quiet and southfacing.

Situated in George Street, one of the main thoroughfares in Edinburgh's the New Town, Ullasplace is ideally situated for the visitor to access the many sights and landmarks Scotland's capital has to offer.

Within a 7 minute walk from the Airport Bus Terminal and the main railway station Waverley , the visitor will find Ullasplace in the very heart of the city.

Edinburgh is renowned as a Medical Centre so for Doctors and other Medical people coming to Edinburgh for exams, conferences or courses, Ullasplace is ideally located, as it is literally a 2 minute walk to The Royal College of Physicians in Queen Street. The Lister Centre and Surgeon's Hall is a 15 minute walk away. These are also accessed by excellent bus connections from Princes Street, which lies parallel to George Street, a 2 minute walk away.

History.

George Street runs parallel to the north of Princes Street and is the centre of the city's financial district.

It was laid out in 1767 and was central to Jame's Craigs plan for the New Town. George Street was named in honour of King George III.
