We are 5 minutes by train, 10 minutes by car or 15 minutes by direct bus to the city centre. Close to the long sandy Portobello beach and the historic harbour town of Mussleburgh, this touring and business base has convenience and comfort. Golf courses are close as is an American style complex (5 minutes) with shopping, restaurants, cinemas, ten-pin bowling and much more. Direction to and from Edinburgh City Centre Edinburgh Airport: Take airport bus to city centre. G to Marks and Spencers shop on Princes Street, take bus number 44 which takes you directly to Milton Road East. Ask driver to stop beside the Kings Manor Hotel, The Aaran Lodge Guest House is directly opposite the bus stop. Directions by car on Edinburgh Bypass (A720): Follow signs for A1 Berwick-upon-Tweed until you get to 'Old Craighall Roundabout' (On A1) turn left onto the A1 follow signs for Edinburgh. After about 1mile you approach a roundabout with Asda on your left. Go straight over then you come to another roundabout. Take third opening right onto Milton Road East (signed Joppa and Mussleburgh). GO straight along road about 300 yards, we are on your right, next to the Kings Manor Hotel.
