The area is home to the world's oldest golf course, a fantastic racecourse, and Queen Margaret University.
Nearby are shopping centres Fort Kinnaird, with Ocean Terminal is the city's Leith area.
The areas of Portobello and Leith are nearby, providing restaurants, pubs and bars outwith the city centre. Leith is also home to the Royal Yacht Britannia and two Michelin Star restaurants.
