The Drawing room has a lovely aspect to the front of the property, retaining all original features and a large dining recess with sofa bed. The kitchen is fully fitted and has a delightful outlook over Edinburgh's skyline, a walk -in pantry and a table to eat at. The double bedrooms are bright and spacious with lovely high ceilings. This second floor property benefits from a lift by the main stair. The property is in a fabulous location, with all that Edinburgh has to offer right on your doorstep.

About the location.
This spacious property is situated in the heart of Edinburgh,s Georgian New Town. Fantastic location minutes from George street and Princes street, which house many trendy bars ,fashionable boutiques and great restaurants.Many of the festival venues are within 5 mins walk of the apartment , making it a perfect location for both performer and visitor alike. Edinburgh Castle ,Museums and wonderful Art galleries are in easy walking distance, as is Waverly Station. Howe street is on the edge of the area of Stockbridge which has a" buzz" of " Parisien " street cafes and an abundance of antique shops. This is a Magical city that will inspire you,and at the end of a long day you can return to the apartment knowing you can just sit back and relax.

This is a wonderful property to stay in, its central setting is just one of its many strengths. It is decorated beautifully, and straight away you can feel at home.
On arrival you are given a brief induction on heating, television etc and once this is done you can kick back with a coffee, tea or even glass of wine that is kindly supplied. Each of the little things you need at home are too supplied in this apartment, small things like towels, hair dryers ice trays and a fully equipped for those who like to eat in or reduce cost of your break. For those lazy, like ourselves the is places to eat, located literally at either side of the apartment, a bistro(not tried or tested) and a bar which sold the most a memorable steak pies, served by local friendly staff who give you hints and tips that benefit any tourist.
We were allowed into the property early and did not have to hang about all day so we got to make the most of our short break. In relation to its location you couldn't ask for a better location, 5 min walk at the most from Princess Street for those who love to shop, 10 min walk to Royal Mile and Castle for those sightseeing and 5 min walk to chic bars and clubs located on George Street.
This property can comfortably cater for six people and is very spacious, allowing you to grab a little space when you get sick of those you have spent the last 3 days with (ha-ha). The second bathroom (ensuite) came in handy as there were 5 women on the break. It is fair to say that the 5 of us were equally happy with the apartment. From a lady who goes on regular city breaks this property just added to the love for Edinburgh and it comes highly recommended.

20 Howe Street is a very elegant home away from home. It was clean and well-furnished, and we were extremely comfortable with everything one could need with plenty of space to cook, dine, and just live.
The shop across the street really helped with last minute needs and our hostess was so warm and welcoming! We hope to return in 2011!

Fantastic flat in a fantastic location. Gorgeously decorated with everything that's needed for a comfortable stay, we were as happy to stay in in front of the t.v. as we were to go out and explore the city, a real home from home!! I would thoroughly recommend staying here.
