About the location (Old Town, Edinburgh)

The townhouse itself is in Nether Craigwell Brewery which was redeveloped into exclusive and contemporary townhouses back in 1987. With this property you are literally in the heart of Edinburgh, just a short five minute walk from the townhouse in one direction will take you to Holyrood Palace, the Royal Holyrood Park and Scottish Parliament building at the foot of the Royal Mile. Just ten minutes in the other direction howevr will take you to the top of Leith Walk and the East end of Princes Street, the main shopping area in Edinburgh.

Despite being so close to the main attractions within the City, Calton Road is a relatively quiet street with no pubs or restaurants nearby so this property will offer a peaceful retreat at the end of a long hard day exploring, sightseeing, shopping, eating and drinking.
