    Apartments: Gilmours Entry At The Pleasance


    Located on the ground floor, this apartment is ideal for families with children. It's also accessible for guests who have minor mobility problems (please note that, because there are a few steps up to the main door, the apartment is not wheelchair accessible).

    For the benefit of guests with allergies, we do not use feather pillows or duvets. Our towels and bed linen are cotton and they are washed in non-biological detergent for delicate skin.

    A welcome pack is included and consists of bread, milk, butter, bacon, free range eggs, and shortbread/biscuits.

    Although the apartment accommodates 4, there is tableware for up to 6 in order to make preparing and serving meals easier.

    The apartment has its own parking space and there is room for one car; use of this space is included free of charge in the rental.


    The accommodation comprises:


    Two double bedrooms, living/dining area with seating for 4 around a wooden dining table.

    Each bedroom has hanging space, as well as drawers for personal effects, bedside lamps and adequate storage space for suitcases.

    The family bathroom has a shower over the bath, with a separate hand-held shower for use in the bath. The bath's matching WC and sink are accompanied by a bathroom-safe shaving point.

    There is adequate hanging space by the main door for bags, jackets, etc. and we also include a couple of umbrellas for you to use during your stay, should you need them.

    The well-equipped kitchen includes a gas hob, fan-assisted electric oven, fridge freezer, washer dryer, kettle, toaster, radio, a selection of cooking utensils, as well as pots and pans. Although the apartment accommodates 4, there is tableware for up to 6 in order to make preparing and serving meals easier.

    The apartment has its own allocated parking space and there is room for one car; use of this space is included free of charge in the rental.

    Both mattresses are "medium to firm", and there is high-speed, fibre optic wireless in the apartment.

    The Pleasance is a most desirable residential district, situated on the south fringe of the city centre.

    Newington is nearby and offers an abundance of amenities, including a variety of supermarkets, specialist shops, restaurants and bars, banking, building society and Post Office services.

    Please note that rentals for up to 28 days, and only for the purposes of a holiday, are accepted at this property.

    Paying for your booking
    An initial deposit of 50% of the remaining balance is due at time of booking, with the remaining balance and damages deposit due 30 days before your arrival. If you fail to make a payment due to us in full and on time we may treat your booking as cancelled by you.

    If you cancel or amend your booking
    If you need to cancel or amend your booking you must write to us or email us as soon as possible. A cancellation will not take effect until we receive confirmation in writing or via email from you.

    The property
    This is a non-smoking apartment and pets are not permitted under any conditions.
    Check-in is from 4pm onwards and check-out is by 11am at the latest.

    Your obligations
    You agree to keep and leave the property and the furnishings, including items such as kitchen equipment, crockery and glasses clean and in good condition.
    You agree not to cause any damage to the property or its contents.
    You agree to take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property.
    You cannot allow more people to stay in the property than expressly authorised (it accommodates 4 individuals, including children), nor can you take your pet into the property.

    General
    You may not transfer your booking or any rights and responsibilities under these Booking Conditions to any other person, without our prior written consent.

    Cancellations
    A 14 day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 14 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.

    Minimum stay
    Unless otherwise agreed in advance and in writing, this property requires a 3 night minimum stay. If a rental is taken for less than 3 nights, the guest will be charged the three-night rate.

    Parking
    One allocated parking space is available per booking; you are permitted to park only in the designated space. If another car is illegally parked in the allocated space, you must find another place to legally park, and this is undertaken at your own risk and expense.
