About this accommodation.
We are delighted to welcome you to this beautifully refurbished historical apartment, in a tenement building described by Historic Scotland as 'built as upmarket flats ...from 1780 onwards', part of the stunning Regent Bridge project, which the flat overlooks. The flat, which is at the quiet back of the building, comprises inner and outer hallways, comfortable living room with fully equipped kitchen, lovely light-filled double bedroom with organic linen, and bathroom with bath and shower. Ideally suited to 2 people on a romantic break, the apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 4. Please note the apartment is on the 3rd floor (US 4th) in a traditional tenement and there is not a lift. We will be there to greet you however, as we are happy to offer a 'meet and greet' service to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. We also provide a full welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk and croissants and traditional Scottish oats and honey, should you want porridge for breakfast!
The Accommodation comprises:
Living room with kitchen Double bedroom Bathroom Hall
About the location.
Located at the West End of Princes Street within the World Heritage Site boundary, Regent Bridge apartment is ideally placed for a city break, Festival visit or shopping bonanza. It is a 10 minute walk to Holyrood Palace and 15 minutes to Edinburgh Castle, while the Royal Mile itself is only 5 minutes away. Obviously, Jenners of Princes Street and Harvey Nicholls of St Andrew Square are on the doorstep. The Omni Centre, with cinemas and swimming pool, is a couple of minutes walk, as is the Playhouse Theatre and numerous cafes and restaurants. Broughton Street, with its cosmopolitan shops, unusual restaurants and home of the 'pink pound', is also a couple of minutes walk away. You can investigate your clan history at General Register House, which really is over the road, and look over it all from our 'back garden', Calton Hill , with its enormously satisfying 360 degree views, from the Firth of Forth to the Castle and the Pentland Hills beyond. A great location. You'll love it!
