This sunny apartment sleeps up to 6 people.
It has two bedrooms and a comfortable double sofa-bed in the living room.
It has attractive views over a private courtyard, classic cobbled streets and the gardens of Stockbridge Village which is a 10 minute walk to the city centre.
The Accommodation comprises:
Open-plan living, dining and kitchen area - perfect for entertaining with family and friends. Featuring real wood flooring and freshly decorated in neutral tones. Large windows allow sunlight to flood the room. The newly installed kitchen has a double oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, toaster and plenty of cutlery, crockery and glassware.
2 double bedrooms which are generous in size and quietly located away from the street. The master bedroom can be arranged as two singles or as a double bed.
The bathroom has the benefit of a bath with a power shower over, wash hand basin and WC. Water is heated from a newly installed gas boiler.
All rooms are accessed from a central hall.
There is also a pretty private resident's courtyard.
Wi-Fi internet access and Freeview TV provided.
About the location.
The property is located in a beautiful and elegant Georgian cobbled street. The street accommodates a series of antique shops, bars and small shops and offices.
Stockbridge is a located towards the north of the city, originally a village, which now merges gracefully with Edinburgh's New Town. Stockbridge has been home to many artists and writers over the years, among them the painter Sir Henry Raeburn (1756-1823). Stockbridge has been the location for many famous movies including The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and James Bond played by Sean Connery.
St. Stephen Street itself is a characterful curving Georgian street with active basements and ground floors, accommodating a series of antique shops, bars and small shops and offices.
At the West end of the street there is a Sunday farmer's market with a wide variety of local produce.
It is short walk through the awesome New Town streets to the city centre.
You could also choose to hop on to one of the numerous buses, all of which pass through the city centre.
