Cumberland Street has very little traffic due to it being relatively narrow, and is therefore quiet. It is perfectly situated for walking to many of Edinburgh's favourite spots, but also has an excellent bus service with the nearest bus stop round the corner on Dundas Street, less than 200yds away. The New Town is one of the most beautiful and most desirable parts of Edinburgh. You can change your walking routes daily and find more and more fascinating streets, shops, bars etc. This is the perfect location for a truly wonderful break in one of the most beautiful and exciting cities in the world.
