The accommodation comprises:
Beginning with a short flight of stairs up to its kitchen, which has sliding wooden doors on either side to its en-suite bedroom and sitting room. The kitchen has a table seating four opposite its hob and combination microwave/fan oven. Its other fitted appliances are a dishwasher and fridge with freezer drawer. There's also a coffee maker and cafetiere in the cupboards.
The sitting room has a sofa, two wingback armchairs, a coffee table and stove. On the rightmost wall is a large print of Edinburgh reproduced from the 1868 Illustrated London News. Guests can repose in comfort and warmth to peruse one of the local interest titles or listen to the Sony digital radio on the windowsill. The room has a sloping ceiling with skylights, which run throughout the property to brighten and open out the space.
The apartment's bed (UK small double) is flanked by fitted single wardrobes. An iron, ironing board and hairdryer are also kept here.
A further sliding door divides the bedroom from the en-suite shower room with electric shower.

William Street Lane is nestled in an excellent central location with a wealth of amenities within easy reach. It therefore serves as ideal accommodation for couples wishing to explore the city, as well as lone travellers and professionals seeking a retreat from the hubbub of the busier surrounding thoroughfares.
Check in/out Check-in is between 4p.m. and 10p.m. on the day of arrival. Check-out time is before 10.30 a.m. on the day of departure. Please contact us as soon as your travel arrangements are confirmed (and at least three days prior to your arrival) to confirm the expected time of arrival with us. Arrivals at antisocial times (from 10 p.m. onward) and late departures to 12:00 p.m. may incur a modest fee of £25. We offer both face-to-face and contactless check-in options.
Payment of balance If the booking is placed more than 250 days prior to arrival, the guest will initially be charged 10% of the total rental fee. Once the booking is within 250 days, the guests will be charged 50 % of the remaining balance which will be required to be paid at latest 120 days prior to arrival. The remainder of the balance will be charged 56 days prior to arrival. If the booking is placed within 56 days of the arrival date the full balance will be required to be paid.
Security deposit A refundable security deposit of £250 will be required for your booking to ensure that no damage is done to the property or its contents.
Coronavirus cancellation policy (for arrivals before 30th September 2021) Due to the Corona virus pandemic we have offered a more relaxed cancellation policy for bookings up until 30th September 2021. Under this policy guests will be entitled to a full refund if they are forced to cancel their trip due to government coronavirus restrictions. If the guests should cancel for any other reasons prior to 30th September 2021 the following conditions apply:
Cancellation over 15 days prior to arrival - Guests will receive a full refund minus a £30 admin fee. Cancellation within 15 days of arrival - Guests will be charged in full.
Standard cancellation policy (for arrivals after 1st October 2021) The initial instalment of 10% is non-refundable. Over 6 months prior to arrival - Guests will receive a full refund of the remaining balance minus a £50 admin fee. Up to 56 days prior to arrival - Guests will be charged 25% of the rental fee. 55 -30 days prior to arrival - Guests will be charged 50% of the rental fee. 29 days or less - Full rental fee will be charged
