The Glenalmond is a privately owned family run guest house situated on the south side of Edinburgh just five minutes away from the City Centre by bus. With ample private parking and an excellent bus and taxi service right to the front door this makes the ideal base from which to explore Edinburgh. The owners Jimmy and Fiona take pride in the warm hospitable atmosphere that awaits all our guests from near or far, and our hope is that you will enjoy your stay.

Some of the rooms have four poster beds and all rooms are decorated to a very high standard. Every room is spacious with en-suite bathroom, towels, colour TV, tea & coffee tray and hairdryer.

The Dining Room
Here you can sit down in a warm friendly environment to a full Scottish breakfast with haggis, or something a little lighter, such as scrambled eggs and salmon, omelette, vegetarian special, pancakes, waffles or a cold continental breakfast.
