What a lovely location! I went for a quick jog to Portobello beach on Sunday morning and almost every morning I walked into Edinburgh centre via Arthur’s seat, through the beautiful park. The bus is also nearby and frequent too. I was very busy during the Edinburgh Festival peak season so I barely met them, but my hosts did everything to make my stay at Meadowbank Villa comfortable. The house is clean and tidy, and everything works. My train was delayed but they were very understanding about the shifting check-in time; they provided space in the kitchen to store food and we had a good chat on my arrival. Very friendly and welcoming !
