Double room with private bathroom in our warm and relaxed family home in Edinburgh, based in the vibrant Leith area with easy access to the city centre (just 10 minutes by tram).
The accommodation comprises:
Bright, light, and airy private double bedroom overlooking the back garden, offering a peaceful space to relax after a day exploring Edinburgh. The room includes a comfortable double bed, a fitted double wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a desk if you need space to work or plan your adventures.
You'll have your own private bathroom, right next to the bedroom, with a bath, shower, toilet, sink, and plenty of hot water, all for your sole use during your stay.
Fresh bedding, a bath towel, and hand towel are all included, so you can travel light.
We want guests to feel at home here. You're very welcome to use the kitchen for cooking, and if you fancy a relaxed evening, you're welcome to join us in the sitting room and watch TV too.
Our home is shared with a friendly small Jack Russell, so dog lovers are especially welcome!
We're close to some of Edinburgh's best spots, including the beautiful coastline at Portobello Beach, the stunning walks at Arthur's Seat, and easy transport links into the city centre.
This is a calm, respectful, female guests only home, ideal for solo travellers, friends visiting Edinburgh, or women looking for a comfortable and safe base while exploring the city.
About the location (Leith Links, Edinburgh)
Located close to Arthur's Seat, Holyrood Park with the Palace of Holyrood, Leith Links playpark and Portobello beach. There is free parking and the property is located close to all amenities such as a large local supermarket.
The local restaurants & cafes are great and offer a variety of cuisine. We are also within walking distance of Leith's vibrant shore area with the Royal Yacht Britannia, Ocean Terminal shopping centre and cinema.
Locally there are a wide variety of shops for day to day requirements - such as a pharmacy, newsagent and lovely bistros.
A short bus journey will take you to the gorgeous Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh Castle, Royal Museum of Scotland, National & Portrait Gallery of Scotland. Local bus service every 3 minutes.
There is also our great cycle path which runs along the water of Leith with some gorgeous scenery. We are right next to all local amenities and easy for shopping from local fishmonger, butcher, Tesco etc. Its a great place to live!
