Made for a great fringe stay!

I rented this flat, hoping for the best for my Fringe play team. It was perfect and Ronnie, the landlord, was so kind, communicated immediately, and put us all at ease, making my team feel at "home away from home" for a month.

From my director: The flat at 14 Warrender Park Rd is comfortable and convenient. With a view of Arthur's Seat out the window and the conveniences of a grocery, bakery, restaurants, hardware store, fishmonger, and pubs just a few steps away from the front door, this is a great place to get the feel of an Edinburgh neighborhood and still be close to the action of the city. The kitchen is well stocked, and the Nespresso coffee maker was a lovely plus! No fancy bells and whistles here. An old building with solid walls and high ceilings; you can tell it's been standing there for a while, but it's in decent shape. No lift, so be prepared to carry your baggage up several flights of stairs. Once you're up there, the view is lovely.

From my co-star: This flat was in a lovely, safe convenient neighborhood. Not only is there a Great pub on either corner of the block there’s also a grocery store with an ATM machine. A fabulous bakery across the street and around the corner a nice Chinese takeout. It’s also a few short blocks to the Meadows Park. The flat is a 3 story walk up so be prepared to get some steps in each day. The full kitchen has everything you need to prepare full meals. I especially appreciate the Nespresso coffee maker. A small washing machine in the kitchen was very useful. Drying racks are in the flat and a clothes line is provided in the back courtyard. The small bathroom has a walk-in glass shower. A bit slippery maybe bring a shower mat. The spacious living room has a TV and comfy couches. A dining table near a wrap around window has a lovely view of Arthur’s Seat. The 3 bedrooms have comfy beds with clean white linens.The large Windows have nice blackout blinds. There’s plenty of space for hanging and folded clothes. All have a desk and office chair. Great for office or homework, I used mine as a Vanity.

On a personal note: We all met the owner and his wife as they attended a performance of our Fringe Fest play and they are a friendly, lovely couple.
