Fantastic stay in city centre apartment

Richard's basement flat on Regent Terrace was a perfect stay for us (two couples and two little ones). There was ample space with fresh linen/towels provided. Richard went to the trouble of arranging two travel cots for us, which was much appreciated. The apartment came equipped with all necessary facilities, and we were pleasantly surprised to find coffee, tea etc too. The only two minor details was the bin, which was full of rubbish from the last occupants, and that it was a little hard contacting Richard up until a few days before our arrival. Edlets assisted with communication, and Richard was extremely helpful thereafter. Apart from those two minor points, we had an excellent stay, and would fully recommend this accommodation.

Great base for the fringe - bus stops nearby and easy walk into the venue areas - cheap uber ride away as well. Good facilities - lots of space and kitchen facilities- very quiet the whole 3 nights. Richard was easy to deal with and communicated well.

Hello,
Overall, we were satisfied with the accommodation.
The location is excellent—the street is quiet and close to public transport.
We were a bit cold, though—but apparently, heating isn't turned on in Scotland yet at this time of year.

Cozy home with great beds!

My daughter and I stayed here one night to enjoy two days in Edinburgh. This place was just what we needed after a long day of sight seeing. The flat is quiet, clean, and well stocked of all necessary items.

The beds were extremely comfortable and much enjoyed.

The communication with the owner was a little spotty at times, yet we managed and never needed anything.

I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Firstly Edlets than you for sorting me out when let down by AirBNB. Flat was huge so lots of room. Location was great. Easy to walk into different parts of Edinburgh which was a pretty walk. Basic but comfortable facilities. We were hardly in the flat. Were able to sit out the back to eat. Didn’t meet host but responded by e mail. While helpful e.g. let us leave bags on our last day bit slow to respond e.g. re key arrangements on arrival. Would happily stay here again, excellent base and good value. Given 4 stars not 5 as took some time to get deposit back

Stayed here for a long weekend for a family get together.

Excellent location for seeing Edinburgh.

6 of us and 2 dogs, plenty of room. Large spacious, cosy apartment.

All beds fantastically comfy and that includes the sofa bed.

Not ultra modern but totally fit for purpose.

Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We went to Edinburgh for a city trip weekend with our family.
Two adults and two girls aged 10 and 13.

Since we were travelling after work, we arrived very late friday night.
Everything was absolutely as agreed.
When we arrived, the flat was warmly lit and well heated and we felt welcome from the very first moment.

Situated in an old town house next to the US consulate (well-protected surrounding), the flat was equipped with everything we could ever have asked for, from wifi to toaster. (Everyone knows of course, that 13 year olds pay much more attention to the wifi)

The contact to the landlord was always on time and reliable, which I have expierenced differently in other cities.

We definitely would stay there again!
