About the location (Morningside, Edinburgh)
Morningside is a very popular area with a plethora of shops, bars, cafes and wonderful walking spaces - The Braidburn Valley, Blackford Hill and Craighouse/Craiglockhart Hill for easy walks within easy reach - and great transport links into the centre of the city.
There are restaurants/pubs/take-aways within walking distance of the flat. If you're hoping for a more local feel, try one of the pubs nearby: Turning left from the end of the road is The Hermitage, more a gastro-pub, then a couple of blocks further up, Bennets Bar is a traditional pub, then there's The Canny Mans which has its own unique style a slightly more expensive, but worth a look!
This is a residential building, please respect the neighbours (this is their home and they have young families) and be considerate when it comes to noise levels.
Quiet hours are between 10pm and 9am.
You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay.
Strictly no smoking, parties or pets.
Keep the property clean and tidy a skips are outside for rubbish/recycling a and use chopping boards in the kitchen.
Careful attention to the keys is extremely important. Guests are responsible for any additional costs resulting from misplaced keys or locksmith call-outs. If you find yourself locked-out, get in contact with me immediately and weall get you back in the property as quickly as we can.
Parking without a permit in the boxes between 1.30pm and 3.00pm (Mon-Fri) is not permitted and will incur a fixed penalty fine. At all other times and in other areas of the road not marked and designated, parking is still free. Please pay attention to parking signs as restrictions differ a the main road has bays that are free after 630pm (until 730am) and after 130 on Saturday and Sunday. The loading bay opposite the flat can be used for short spells, but keep an eye out as only trades are supposed to use it and a warden will ticket you. Your best chance of avoiding a ticket is to find a space without any marking a they are available, even if it means a wee walk.
