We spent time in Edinburgh leading up to New Years Eve.

The accommodation was in prime location for our visits in to town and generally getting around. Following New years Eve celebrations in town it was an easy stroll back.

The accommodation was warm and adequate for our needs. some updating and maintenance is required . Towels were provided, and communication with owner was excellent.

Perfect christmas holiday in edinburgh

We spent 6 nights in Edinburgh for Christmas - a family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers. The host (Don) was very welcoming. The apartment is very well kept and very clean. Everything is provided (towels, utensils, heaters, washing machine with integrated tumble drier, etc). The front room was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the apartment is located in an excellent position - a stone's throw away from Haymarket station and the Princes street with groceries practically nextdoor. The listing is very accurate and we look forward to stay again in this place. Highly recommended!!!!

We booked this apartment for our New Years trip for Hogmanay. Considering the cost of many other apartments in town, this place was more than reasonable.

I thought it might be a little bit further out than I wanted it to be but it was only a 10 minute walk to the royal mile and there were plenty of bars/coffee shops/supermarkets near by.

Don was easy to contact and always quick to reply to messages. He greeted us at the apartment and showed us around. Very friendly and approachable guy. The beds were set up as requested and it was all very clean. The facilities such as the shower worked well and there were no problems with cold showers. Watch out for the heated towel rail - it was quite hot! Towels were provided. Iron and board and a hairdryer were also provided.
The kitchen had plenty of cutlery and cooking equipment to cope with our number (10 people).
We all had a lovely stay and would certainly look to book this apartment on another visit.

Stayed at central apartments while thru for the works xmas bash, nice wee apartment midway between Lothian road and hay market station and a perfect base for going out on the lash in Edinburgh. There were 8 in our party and there was plenty of space for sleeping and partying. the land lord Don was a top guy, very helpful and no problem getting the damage deposit back at the end of the stay
