A first for Scotland, this is a luxury, four star, self catering, accommodation located in the very heart of Edinburgh city centre and has been awarded 4 stars by the Scottish Tourist Board and offers a unique experience for the discerning traveller that even the kids will enjoy!
She is a purpose built, permanently moored, static wide-beam houseboat, so don't worry if you haven't got your sea legs, there are no currents or tides and sea/canal sickness is not an issue.
We have tried very hard to make your stay on board as comfortable as possible and have had the best and latest technology installed on board to make us as close to an apartment on land as possible, however there will always be some slight differences on board. Please bare this in mind when booking!
The accommodation comprises:
A massive 55' by 10' 6" with 6' 4" of headroom, she can sleep up to 4 adults and 2 children under 10 years comfortably. A double bed-settee is also available in the lounge area to accommodate larger groups.
On board, there is a sense of peace and tranquillity where you will feel no more than a gentle sway underfoot. All our waste water drains directly into the canal, hence the need to use the eco-friendly products supplied. Toilet waste is contained on board and is disposed of weekly by the crew. Nothing other than human waste may be disposed of in the WC. Paper must be put into the bin provided.
The shower is ceramic, 24 inches square and hot water is supplied by means of a water heater which takes just a few minutes to reach the required temperature.
The ceramic WC on board is the latest model in boating technology with touch panel flush.

The tariff is for your sole use of the boat, the boat is permanently moored. There is no supervision during your stay. Management can be contacted by telephone 24/7.
Payment Terms: - 50% of the balance will be due following confirmation - 50% will be due 4 weeks prior to arrival date (Full amount if within this period) - Payments will be made via an online link via Stripe - Card details are obtained on arrival as a security deposit with no money being taken unless there are any damages, etc.
