    Great place in heart of city

    17 people of mixed ages stayed in this house. We were doing a show at the festival and needed accommodation the could cope with a small baby, groups of single sexed and multiple couples. Peter ( our host) was so helpful and accommodating, going out of his way to arrange the house and room configurations to meet our particular needs.
    Any issue that arose was swiftly dealt with. We stayed for 11 nights and were offered a midway clean and change of linen, towels for those that wanted.
    The kitchen is small but well equipped. We had a few issues with the cookers, there are two, one in a second kitchen but overall we managed to feed the gang most nights.
    I would describe the decor as shabby chic but comfortable.
    If time and money were no object it could be restored to its former glory but possibly we might not be so relaxed about staying there then.
    The location is well served with buses and easily walkable to Princes street, George street and the old town.
    Lots of great places to eat nearby.
    We had a fantastic takeaway ( East African food)especially made for our group of 18 by Ma Roberts (ma-roberts.com)
    Would thoroughly recommend.
    Overall we would definitely stay here again.
