Had a short trip to Edinburgh with a group of 8, was very happy with the location and quality of this let! Host was informative, thorough, and very easy to communicate with. Facilities are very well-kept, full suite of appliances (including a dryer!) - myself and my group were very happy, and would recommend this to anyone looking for a spot near central Edinburgh!

A beautiful place

We were able to easily find the apartment in a friendly residence well placed for public transport.
It's a large, welcoming apartment with great bedding in the double bed. The living room is spacious, with a large TV where we could plug in our Chromecast. The kitchen is great too and well equipped.
The small downside was the surprise of two dead spiders in the kitchen sink when we arrived, a shower mat in the main bathroom with surprising hygiene and the dust under the bed making my mother allergic. BUT ! It could happen.
We had nuisance problems with the upstairs neighbors but the owner was great, and responsive in finding a solution to all that and we thank him once again. However it should be noted that the insulation is not very effective.
Nevertheless, we had a great holiday in Edinburgh and we will be happy to come back.

Apologies about the dust and the spiders. There had been no guests in for about 4 weeks due to a last minute cancellation and because I was on holiday myself as I explained to you I didn't check the aparment before you arrived.
The shower mat has now gone!! and I am grateful for your feedback so we can take care of these things.

Me and my colleague were here for a work trip. We had a nice stay at Dalry Gait, it is a rather quiet neighbourhood, but with many facilities nearby. Communication with Maurice was good, he was friendly and open. The apartment is well equipped but not everything was of great quality (e.g. the coat rack could not be used) and it was not super clean. Overall, good stay!

I am glad you had a good stay but I am disappointed in your comment about cleanliness as I had the cleaners do a deep clean before your arrival as the previous guests were in for 4 weeks as they were performing at the Edinburgh Featival.
Perhaps you could e mail me with more specifics as I paid 280 for the clean so I really need to make sure this doesn't happen again as I have never had a complaint about this before. I will check the coat stand and get it fixed or replace it.

Lovely flat near the cetre of edinburgh

5 of us stayed here for a family holiday. The flat was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed in it. There are some lovely restaurants a few minutes walk away - we had great meals at the pizza and the italian restaurants. It only took us 20 minutes to walk to the centre but Ubers were cheap when we didn't want to walk. Maurice was easy to commuicate with and replied quickly to my emails. We would certainly stay again.

Short stay for tattoo

We have spent 3 days in Edinburgh in this flat for the Edinburgh Tattoo with 7 men. The communication with the host was easy and without any problem. Email and WhatsApp is possible. It was the right accomodation for our trip. The accommodation is very centrally located and everything is within walking distance. We would stay here again.
The apartment could have been cleaner. We found some things under the beds to clean up that definitely did not come from us. Of course, this was not a problem for seven men. ;o)

Very good living space with nice lounge/diner and open kitchen space.
Bedrooms suitable enough to sleep but a small for larger groups with luggage.
Good amenities I.E TV, iron, kitchen utensils etc. Some dining chairs damaged before arrival but it didn't cause issue.
Very helpful and friendly owner who attended to slight issue with shower immediately on arrival.
20 min walk to town centre/Edinburgh Castle, others shops eg. Lidle and Coop 5 mins walk max. Haymarket station 5 mins walk max. Good bus routes.
Ground floor flat so bound by the noise of surrounding flats.
Overall, very clean and convenient flat. We very much enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.
