Edinburgh festivals stay

We were a group of 7 staying one week for the Edinburgh festivals. Accommodation suited our purposes - out most of the time but provided a bed and self-catering when desired.
Very modern; student accommodation so utilitarian and functional. Kitchen only had minimal cooking utensils. Beds are 3/4 size and fine for one person; cosy for two. Only one sheet on top of the waterproof mattress (not very comfortable and a bit more padding would be nice) and one rather flat pillow. Otherwise accommodation is excellent considering the cost.
Very quiet neighbourhood and no noise from adjacent flats. Great location for castle end of High Street. 15-20min walk to city centre.
On-site staff were friendly and very quickly responded to issues.

Hiring out two apartments was ideal to host our large choir whilst performing at the Edinburgh Fringe, I would highly recommend!
