Perfect spot.

Well, where to start. The description for the apartment was exactly right apart from possibly the directions to it, which we found challenging, but it could have just been us! The apartment was lovely, it was clean, tidy, well appointed and in a quiet residential area. If you're going in and out of town, as the description says 'there are plenty of buses' and there were. There's a Tescos and a Co op close by as well as cafes and pubs etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay again.

Great apartment with good local buses to edinburgh

We stopped during the Edinburgh Festival. we walked into town and back each day and night. We caught the No 26 bus once as we were in a rush to get to a show, the buses are frequent about every 15 minutes. It's 15 min walk to Haymarket station and about 30 mins walk to Where Princess street starts. The apartment has everything you need and is sufficient for 3 adults and a child I would say, although it can accommodate 5 as there is one double bed, a single bed and 2 Futons. The smaller bedroom could only accommodate one single bed and one futon so the other if reqd would have to go in the double bedded room or the living room. This flat is on the 3 rd floor with no lift and the stairs are steep so if you are not mobile or have a pram it may be difficult for you to get up the stairs. It was fine for us as we are mobile and able to walk upstairs easily. It was lovely and quiet all the time and especially at night so you can get a good nights sleep. It had a nice view of the bowling green from the lounge and was not overlooked at the back at all as there is a shared garden which is hilly not on a level. I would stay here again if I was in Edinburgh. A couple of things need renewing i.e. Kitchen window would not shut properly which was fine as it was warm, but in winter it may be drafty. The bathroom door did not lock and the grouting needs renewing as it was mouldy in the shower area. But overall it was a lovely flat and we would recommend it for a stay in Edinburgh. the owner Louise, was easily contactable and helpful.Thank you

Excellent appartment

We stayed with my roommate for 4 months and its was a very nice stay. Louise (the landlady) was super kind and on the lookout to our needs in the house, she was very friendly and supportive during our stay. The house is very spacious, the main room is very big and comfortable and the second room is big enough for one person. The bathroom is refurbished so it os very modern and nice. The kitchen has a dishwasher machine and washing machine as well and it's also very well equipped. The living room has a big tv and a dining area very beautiful and homey. The heaters work perfectly and it is very well located in the city of Edinburgh. It's a very quiet area, the internet works perfectly with a great speed and the house has all the appliances needed for a pleasant stay. I totally recommend this apartment.
