Grosvenor suites

We were 14 people on a trip to Edinburgh and we booked 7 Junior Suites. The host was there when we arrived to give us the information needed for our stay. Communication was excellent and the host was very nice and friendly.
Excellent and quiet location.
My room was very charming and my friends were very happy with their accomodation. Beautiful, big and very clean suites with everything you may need. It is a place I would choose again.
The only thing that was not right is that they changed rooms last minute so we had a room in the basement floor instead of the one on the first floor which was given previously. The couple staying in that room told me later their disagreement because they had no views but to the garbage can.

Going as part of a group of family and friends, this was a great spot, close to Haymarket station, with easy train/tram access. Walking would have also been an option were we to have been staying in Edinburgh longer.

There are plenty of lovely eateries/pubs/bars not too far away either should you not want to head out too far after a long journey or busy day out and about.

Comfortable beds. Very helpful staff. Laundry service was available which was nice. Internet was a bit patchy which was challenging for working from home (used my phone's data most of the time).

Safe and pleasant for isolation and afterwards

My first suite (room 5) was not great because it was in the basement and a tourist came right up to my open window asking for directions when I was isolating for the first 10 days! My request to change rooms was dealt with swiftly and my new suite (room 8 on the first floor) was as I had expected when I booked - with large windows overlooking the back garden and a great bathroom with a powerful walk-in shower and a very nice kitchenette. I found the induction cooktop a bit tricky but only because I had never used one before. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The price was excellent value for a stay of nearly a month, and the location could not have been better for peace and quiet with easy walking access and public transport to the heart of the city, New Town, Stockbridge, and the airport by tram at Haymarket. I will definitely book again. Thank you!
