Great location

We stayed here during the festivals in August so although it was pricey for student accomodation the price was comparable to other accomodation in the city centre at this time. The building is not too far down Holyrood and actually extends to the lower end of the Royal Mile. The staff were friendly and helpful. The flat was clean; a good shower; decent bed; adequate kitchen/breakfast bar; no lounge area but that is as described in the listing.
I would definately stay here again. Thank you to Edlets for finding this for us.

Fine - for one!

The flat I stayed in was fine for me - clean, well equipped, comfortable bed, very nice shower. But tiny; there's no living room, just the kitchen area and a breakfast bar. I wouldn't have wanted to be sharing with anyone in such a confined space, and I wouldn't want to spend any leisure time there. I was up for the Fringe and really didn't need anything other than a place to sleep, as I was out till midnight or later every night, but if you're looking for evenings in, this would not be ideal.
It would be OK for two fringe-goers, as long as they were very good friends.
Staff at the flats are very nice, friendly and obliging. I'll stay here again next year if it's just me - not if the family is coming with me.
Location is excellent, just off the Mile.
