Lasswade is a 6km journey to George Square/ Pleasance. The Bus routes are excellent are the nearest stop is a 5minute walk from the house. The bus (service 31) goes directly to Princes Street via Liberton/ Southside and also provides a night service - during day the bus leaves every 15mins and is approx 18 minute journey to George Sq. Lasswade boasts a fantastic village pub with a restaurant called the Laird & Dog. Bonnyrigg, which is a 1/4 mile away, offers a range of convenience stores. There are ample taxi services and the cost varies between £11 to £14 from George Square to Lasswade.
