Thistle Street, built in 1780 is the oldest street in the New Town of Edinburgh and is part of Edinburghas UNESCO World Heritage Area. Built in 1780, this luxury 1 bedroom apartment located in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town can sleep up to four people and is only a 250 meter walk from Princes Street.

The central location makes it a perfect place to view Edinburgh whether you are a young couple, visiting for business or looking for a central base from which to explore.

Accessed via a communal stairway, this one bedroom apartment has a large open plan modern living room / kitchen with gas central heating throughout and a lovely gas fireplace in the lounge - perfect for Scotland's ever changing weather. There is a 42" LCD TV which comes with BT Freeview, BT Sport Channels and unlimited free Wi-Fi internet. A modern CD player is also available to keep you entertained. The sofa bed in the living room can sleep two further guests, if required.

The fully fitted kitchen area is well equipped with a wide range of utensils and equipment including ceramic gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is a breakfast bar for two and table and chairs in the lounge area which can seat four people for those who wish to dine in. Thoughtful amenities, including washing machine, iron and ironing board and hairdryer, are all on hand to complete this home from home. A cot and highchair are also available on request.

The master bedroom features a king-sized, French sleigh bed with sleek curves and simple lines and a large built-in wardrobe offers generous storage. The bedroom's position at the rear of the apartment ensures privacy, tranquillity and overlooks the quiet Thistle Street North West Lane.

The bathroom has a power shower over a large curved shower bath and the combination boiler gives constant hot water on demand throughout the apartment.

All linen, towels, gas and electricity are included in the price.

Ailsa my property manager will be your host during your stay meet you at the apartment and answer any questions you have. Guests who arrive later than around 15:00 hrs will be given key box instructions for entry which are very simple. There will be an apartment guide at the apartment which will answer all questions, you can also find the apartment guide here once booking is confirmed.

We can accommodate guests who arrive early at around 11:30. However please note this is only for dropping off bags, the apartment will still be required to be cleaned, this usually takes around 1 hour, there are a few coffee shops around where you can wait. The apartment is so small cleaning around guests is not easy so this is best for everyone.

Check out is at 11am. If possible, a later check out is ok as long as there are no guest arrivals later that day.

In view of the above it is extremely helpful to note your travel plans ; what time you expect to arrive and how ie the airport or train and if you can let Ailsa know what time you expect to depart so we can turn around the property as fast as possible and provide the above (early check ins) for the next guest.
