Beautiful property in a charming city

Reviewed on Fri, 28 Aug 2026 by Stella-Maria Iona , Greece (Stayed here in August, 2026)

We had the most lovely stay in this property. It is a big, cosy house in a very quiet and green area yet very close to the fringe assemblies. The city centre and all of the places of interest are within 20 minutes walk. It is surrounded by a number of bus stations to any possible place around Edinburgh.
The hosts are very kind and helpful. We we very happy to meet them. It was a huge relief that we had someone to address to and not write anonymous emails to apps.
All in all this accommodation was one of the reasons we had such a lovely time in Edinburgh and for sure one of the reasons we will visit again.

    Thank U all so much
    Stella

    Spacious, charming and great value!

Reviewed on Tue, 21 Nov 2017 by Sumi , United Kingdom (Stayed here in November, 2017)

We were a group of four friends all needing to be in Edinburgh at the same time- the flat had great views (of Arthur's seat), it was in Newington and was perfect for multiple bus routes and for walking around Edinburgh. We all said we'd happily stay there again and recommend it.

The place was just as it looked in the pictures. I sadly didn't get to meet our host on the first day but my two friends who did said that she had been very friendly and helpful. Thanks Sheila!
