Set in a friendly, quiet neighbourhood on the edge of Arthur's Seat and Holyrood Park. Scottish Parliament is only a few minutes walk away. Local shops on doorstep including a local bar, coffee shop and Meadowbank Retail Park.
It has free unrestricted parking on street, and great transport links to wherever you want to go within the city (including Portobello beach only one mile away), but you might not want to take any transport with such a scenic and historic walk into town right on your doorstep.
No other city has an extinct volcano in its limits, so climbing to Arthur Seat, the tallest of Edinburgh's seven hills, is an essential activity for the able-bodied visitor.
