A lovely cafe, a great luxury grocer and a beautiful park are all just round the corner. Bruntsfield for great cafe culture is 15 mins walk away.
This is a very well kept family house and we'd welcome a family here to stay and enjoy the brilliance of Edinburgh during the festival!
Guests have access to open kitchen/dining/living area; one large bedroom downstairs; one large bedroom upstairs; 10x10m garden with patio/outdoor seating.
We have a small dog (who we adore!) so we welcome people who would want to bring a well behaved dog.
The garden is private and sunny with two separate deck areas. The garden is sealed so any dogs would be fully enclosed.
The main guest double bedroom is accessed by internal stairs. Please note, the bathroom is on the ground floor - there is no bathroom upstairs with the large king bedroom.
Both bedrooms have king sized beds. A third bed in form of single camp bed can be provided if required.
There is a small free off-street parking space available; this needs agreed in advance to check car size etc. Short term paid parking is available on the street - this can be arranged at approximately A 2/hour if required provided advance notice is given. Free on street parking is available 15 mins walk south of the property.
About the location (Polwarth, Edinburgh)
There are several cafes within 2 - 10 mins walk. There is a lovely park nearby with great walks along the canal path and local hill.
Several bus routes into both sides of the town centre are within 5 minutes walk (4/44, 34/35, 10, 27).
It takes approx. 30 mins to walk to the west end of Princes Street - a lovely walk along the canal tow path and through via the conference centre or Lothian Road. Buses from Slateford Road run into Princes Street either via Haymarket or Fountainbridge. Buses from Polwarth Terrace run to Princes St via Lothian Road or Chambers Street (National Museum).
