A minutes walk in the other direction up Old Tolbooth Wynd and through the ancient archway of the Tolbooth, and you reach the Royal mile with its tempting selection of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes as well as an array of absorbing historic buildings and medieval closes.
From the Royal Mile you are within an easy walk many of Edinburgh's favourite visitor attractions, including Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle, Dynamic Earth, the Scottish Parliament building, St Giles Cathedral, Mary King's Close and the Camera Obscura.
After payment of the 10% initial instalment, 25% of the remaining balance is due at the time of booking. The remaining 75% is due 6 weeks before your arrival.
