Great stay at Yvonnes apartment. It is ideally located for visiting the Fringe and very well equipped. Yvonne is a helpful and informative host and we wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

A home away from home!

We struck gold with this place. Location was perfect for a family- close to a park, playground, golf course, shops, cafes open early morning, and buses. Literally felt like a home away from home, cozy living area, super comfortable beds, and a lovely kitchen and breakfast table!The landlady Yvonne was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She left little chocolates and shampoo sets on each of our beds- felt like a hotel. There were also useful basics in the kitchen pantry that help when staying just a few days.
Only downside was the toilet which did not have any ventilation shaft, and kitchen window very hard to open when we needed some air.

Thank you for your review and great to hear you loved the apartment and enjoyed staying over your vacation.
Sorry to hear on the window though over last week window has been opened due to the hot weather in fact I walked into greet guests and kitchen window was wide open and could have been down to our weather window maybe have been a little stiff due to being closed over the winter and cold weather we have had until you arrived but to assure you since you left there had been no issue there and sorry this happened to you and if you called I would have arranged for someone to listen for you.
On the issue with the toilet room the building was built in 1870 as it still stands today as it was then built this way and kept the charater of the same as it was with the lovely high ceilings with the beautiful cornices arty around the building and most Edinburgh apartment are still the same today but I will look into this.
Overal I am pleased you loved the place and thank you for booking it was lovely having you and your family as guests.

Yvonne is a wonderful host! She kept us well informed from the initial booking until departure. She greeted us on arrival, showed us around and gave some great hints and tips for the area.
The apartment is lovely, bright and airy. It’s within easy walking distance to many tourist attractions and the main shopping area. Thank you for everything Yvonne!

Having stayed in Edinburgh many times we knew what we were looking for and found it.
Yvonne is a great host, full of knowledge and very helpful throughout our time there.
The apartment is very well located. Took us with two young boys less than 20 minutes to walk to Princes street.
The apartment itself has everything you need and easy to find. Light bright rooms with comfortable beds and plenty of bedding and clean towels.
We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a nice comfortable break.

Beautiful, well situated flat with great amenities

We stayed here for 9 nights during our trip to Edinburgh while visiting family, and had a spectacular time! This flat is in a beautiful and convenient location in Edinburgh. It is right on a lovely park, and the cherry blossoms were in bloom during our visit! There is a well-stocked store at the end of this street, as well as a little cafe and pub. The flat is walking distance to many main attractions, including the castle and train station.
The flat is quiet and very well stocked with amenities - especially the kitchen! If you are travelling with a baby then this is the flat for you - it came with a high end travel cot, high chair, baby bath, bouncy chair, car seat, and toys.
Yvonne was managing our booking for us and was incredibly helpful, friendly and accessible throughout our stay and leading up to our visit. She met us upon arrival to show us the flat and make sure we had everything we needed.
Would very much recommend this flat, and we will definitely be staying here again in the future.

We visited Edinburgh with my family from 28/10/23 to 6/11/23, 4 adults in total. We chose to book via Edlets after a suggestion read by me on a group for Scotland in Facebook. I was very pleased that I chose to book through Edlets as it was trouble-free & fast & the flat was exactly as publicized. 15 minutes walk to the Old Mile & Grassmarket, 25 minutes to the new town. Very well situated near The Meadows (a huge park where you can walk, run, play or simply sit in a bench and enjoy the greenery). Also very close to a super market where you can do your shopping & many other shops. The collection of the keys for the flat was easy, the owner, a wonderful lady Ms. Yvonne was waiting for us at the flat to welcome us and acquaint us with the area & the flat itself. The apartment had everything you could ask for and it was a great choice for our family. I would certainly stay @ Valleyfield Street again as it is a great base for exploring Edinburgh. Just a suggestion that applies to all Edinburgh, please don't bring a car. It costs a fortune to park it and it will take you some time to find a space.

Fabulous location for the fest! Convenient to walk and take busses. Closely groceries and restaurants. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely park nearby. Easy communications with the owner.
