Great home for the fringe!

Fabulous stay for one at West Montgomery place for the Fringe. The host, Crinan was an absolute pleasure to communicate with and I feel went above and beyond to help make my stay as convenient as possible. Assisting with car park queries, welcome nibbles and providing lots of little extra's such as kitchen roll, detergent and cleaning products that make the settling in process much less stressful. Clear arrival instructions with pics were also appreciated. The location was perfect for me being just a 10 minute stroll to my venue. Loads of pubs, great restaurants coffee shops, grocery stores all within 5 mins walk…lovely little coffee shop just across the road. The City centre both New and old town just 15 minutes walk or take a bus/uber or Tram which has a stop about 5 minutes away.
The accommodation itself had everything other than freezer, TV and a music system. Which is not a problem for most, including myself as the WiFi is great and most have all their own entertainment available via their own appliances. Second floor, with twirly steps might be a consideration for those less mobile, but nothing too demanding for most.
I was going to score 4 stars for value as it was quite expensive, but everywhere in Edinburgh is extortionate during the Fringe and to be fair yes, I could have spent the equivalent on an all expenses luxury holiday anywhere in the World. But, compared to many accommodations in the City during August, it was fairly reasonable priced.
As a regular visitor to the city during the Fringe, this has to be one of the favourites I have stayed at and I would definite recommend to others…but not during the Fringe, cos I want to stay there again 😂 Thankyou Crinan and the Edlets team for making it possible 👏
