From the cottage there are great views across Glenlivet to the surrounding countryside with cycle and walking routes throughout the Crown Estate.

If you're feeling a little more adventurous, you have access to 18 of the 43 Munros and 5 of the highest mountains in Scotland. There are literally great walks from the doorstep as well as fantastic cycle trails through out the Glenlivet Estate.

Through April to September, the River Spey & Avon are teaming with native brown trout & grayling, although you may have a little competition from the Eagles & Ptarmigan down by the Avon!

For those who want to taste a 'wee dram' of Scotland's finest produce, you'll only have to nip next door to the Glenlivet Whisky Distillery to start your whisky trail.

Lecht Ski resort is only 15 minutes drive from the cottage with ski & snowboard equipment hire, lift passes, group and individual classes available. Both Cairngorm and Glenshee Ski Resorts are between 45-60 minutes away but the slopes are well worth the journey!
